Workshops

Over the last two decades, Diane has offered workshops on a whole host of topics tailored to her audience. She has provided didactic workshops related to topics around therapist training as well as on Motivational Interviewing, Eating Disorders Diagnosis and Treatment, Mindfulness Meditation, Career Exploration, and Experiential Education. She enjoys working collaboratively to meet the specific needs of her audience and is available for hire.

Training

Diane has the unique experience of having worn the hats of practicum, doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellow coordinator over several years. While doing this training work at an eating disorders clinic, she enjoyed providing direct supervision and coordinating these training programs. She has acted as instructor and consultant to students at the Graduate School of Professional Counseling for more than a decade.

Teaching

Diane is a seasoned teacher. She has enjoyed teaching in higher education over the last two decades–on both the undergraduate and graduate levels. She has taught career exploration, internship and service-learning courses to undergraduates at the University of Minnesota and a practicum seminar and special topics courses to graduate students in counseling at the University of Saint Thomas. In addition to a doctorate in counseling psychology, she also has master’s degrees in Second Languages and Cultures and in Social and Philosophical Foundations of Education. She is certified to teach meditation through the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Training Certificate Program (MMTCP).
